Serving Humanity – Dead or Living | Sarbjeet Singh ( Bobby) | TEDxCartRoad

6th August 2017 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google+ News

Sarbjeet Singh, aka Vella Bobby, in his talk, shares the idea, that the best way to serve humanity is to directly help the needy, instead of donating to already rich and issue-ridden religious organisations. He shares a few stories, from his past experiences in his social ventures, regarding the various ways he has helped the needy and deserving people.

A man who fears the living more than the dead, Mr. Sarbjeet Singh, popularly known as Bobby ji, has made service the mission of his life. He started driving dead body vans, at a time when even paid drivers were not keen on doing it. His NGO, Almighty Blessings, has been organising blood donation camps for the past many years, and their latest venture – a free canteen for patients and their attendants at the cancer hospital Shimla – has proved once again what one inspired individual can achieve when he, or she, sets his mind to do it.
